About Me

My photo
Our kindergarten encourages children to learn and grow independently and together fostering the well being of both family and community, where the wonderful spreading elm tree enhances our outdoor play area. This blog is a wonderful way to keep in touch with whanau/families, both in Dunedin and further afield.

Science alive!

Following on from the science festival in the holidays we have been having a very sciencey term so far! We've been baking, making pop corn, jelly, exploring ice and how it melts after a frost, and conducting different experiments with dye. The tamariki/children have really been enjoying being scientists and making not only awesome discoveries but also yummy kai to eat!! These photos show both the morning and afternoon children enjoying scientific experiences.
