Our kindergarten encourages children to learn and grow independently and together fostering the well being of both family and community, where the wonderful spreading elm tree enhances our outdoor play area. This blog is a wonderful way to keep in touch with whanau/families, both in Dunedin and further afield.

Amby the ambulance comes to visit

Both morning and afternoon children were delighted to have a visit from Amby the ambulance and friends last week. Belinda from St Johns did a great job telling the tamariki/children stories and information relating to the ambulance service. Amby was very cute and his friends (puppets) were lots of fun.

This tied in really nicely with the learning that has been occurring through the hospital that has been set up here at kindergarten. Our Doctors and Nurses have been very busy helping the sick and wounded!
